o leelee i love this site so much you guys really make me feel good... i love to sing.. but mostly i love to hang out and listen to yall! i have met some of you in real life and some i just talk to on the phone or chat in chatroom but i tell you what i can tell you are a big wonderful bunch of folks!  some should be stars on tv...  better than alot on idol... great idea waybe i love to hear  the stories!

I was a telemarketer,kindergarten teacher,telephone operator,taught reading in Middle school,taught adult G.E.D. classes that was the most gratifying.Computer monitor,vet assistant,caretaker and did some singing in a band.Back in 1996 had many complications and a hospital stay of almost 5 months.Died and brought back.Almost died several times after that experience and family had the Priest give me my last Rites.GOD had other plans for me.I can now share this life experience with my friends.....Love,Jan

Well, I am currently a home maker of sorts, I hate to cook, hate ovens, and grease lol!

Microwaves are my friend!

I was in the Navy for 10 years, worked at IHOP, Bonanza, while I was stationed in RI.

Got out in 96, came to Maine again, Worked at Wally world for almost 13 years, as well as a job coach for special needs young folks, and adults for 9 years. Now my job consists of annoying my hubby, my goal is to make his hair go white! lol! just kidding. My day is not complete unless I am wreaking havoc on the community, creating chaos is my specialty! My all time favourite thing to do, other than being with my best friend and soul mate, is checking in here at least once a day to say hello! love and hugs!

lol @loves the microwave , i used to love to cook i still do but i cant do it like i did i get so tired and my fingers ache so bad,depends on what i cook i guess, lol but i do love the microwave to .. mine went out not long ago and i had to rush down to get another!

My 1st job ,I was 16 was working in a nursing home for disable vets..My 2ND job was becoming a mother..times 3..I stayed home with my babies until the last one was in school..Then went back to work as a biscuit maker for a company that only made biscuits..Then I went to work for Krispy Kreme  As a doughnut maker..Was told it was a mans job ,but if I thought I could do it I could have the job..Not easy..picking up those 100 pound bags and lifting that dough over your head to put in the machine..I worked there for 10 years..Then was a manager at a laundry for the next 5 years..Then moved on to being a cook in a nursing home,my last job..But I keep my grand son a couple days a week..He is a handful..Was just disabled with .RA ,COPD..leaking heart valve..Decreased kidney function.. Arteries in my kidneys are blocked..And high blood pressure..Not sure how long I will be around,but let's have fun while we can..

Dang Miss Linda, sounds like you got the whammy, COPD is no joke, I have it, although I quit smoking over a year ago, somedays it feels like I never did, but like you, I fight through it and as we say in the Navy...WE CARRY ON SMARTLY!!!!! I haven't smoked in years,Guess it's true what ya do when you are young will catch up with you later..OH DEAR I'M IN BIG TROUBLE!!!!LOL
